Cobb County Food Scores: Wing Cafe, Bobby's BBQ House, Schools

COBB COUNTY, GA — Headed out for a dinner with the family, or grabbing a quick lunch with friends? There's a variety of food options across Cobb County, no matter what you're in the mood to eat. From up north in Acworth down south to Austell, here's a look at the latest restaurant inspection scores from the past week.

A total of 29 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations were inspected since Sept. 2 — the last time Patch posted a restaurant score roundup — in Acworth, Atlanta, Austell, East Cobb, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta, Powder Springs and Smyrna.

Of the 29 restaurants, 23 received grades of A, five of them received grades of B and one received a C: Three Dollar Cafe in Kennesaw. None received an unacceptable score.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
