In Loving Memory of Victoria "Vicki" Bagwell Poston, 68

Victoria “Vicki” Bagwell Poston, 68, of Marietta passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Marietta with Dr. Bill Ross officiating.

Vicki grew up and lived her life in downtown Marietta. She attended Westside Elementary School, and Marietta High School, the same schools that her children and grandchildren have grown up to attend. She also attended Georgia Southern. She grew up in the First Baptist Church of Marietta, where she was baptized, married, and her life will be celebrated at her Memorial Service. She loved her Church and was a faithful member of the Gary Bonds Sunday School Class. Her greatest loves were her husband of 47 years Bill, and her family. Vicki was, and is the epitome of the perfect Mother and Grandmother. Her time was devoted to helping shuttle her grandchildren, babysitting, and fulfilling their every wish. She loved vacations at Sea Island with her family and friends. Vicki loved traveling and supporting her husband by cheering for the race horses that they own. She also enjoyed all of her friends, especially her Birthday Club, and her walking group. She was known and loved for her kind heart and giving nature. As one of her grandchildren said, “She is the kindest person in the WHOLE world.” It is with Joy and Love that all who knew her will remember her.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Poston; two sons, Clif Poston and his wife, Angela, Chris Poston and his wife, Melissa; five grandchildren, Caroline Poston, Sarah Beth Poston, William Poston, Lauren Poston, and Christopher Poston; niece, Becky Dunning Engram and her husband, Derek and their children, Hudson Engram and Carter Engram all of Marietta. Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Howell and Ruth Bagwell and her sister, Saundra Dunning.

Memorial Donations may be made in loving memory of Vicki Poston to the First Baptist Church of Marietta for the renovation of the Family Life Center, 148 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060.
