COBB COUNTY, GA — Believe it or not, Christmas is a little more than three months away. In preparation, multiple companies in Cobb County are bolstering their workforce ahead of the holiday shopping season.

Whether you’re in need of a temporary gig while you look for more permanent work or if you’re simply wanting to earn a little extra cash to help put presents under the Christmas tree, there are numerous options to fit a variety of schedules and skills.

U.S. Postal Service

The Postal Service is hoping to fill more than 40,000 seasonal positions as the federal agency approaches its peak season for mail and package deliveries. UPS

FedEx

Best Buy typically hires thousands of seasonal workers across the country to fill positions in sales, customer service, merchandising inventory, car install technicians and more. Kohl’s

Kohl’s said it will hire 90,000 seasonal workers to fill positions in stores and warehouses in order to meet customer demand.
