Wienermobile Celebrating Super Bowl With Marietta Visit

During Super Bowl weekend, the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile will be in Marietta on Saturday, Feb. 2.

MARIETTA, GA -- The Oscar-Meyer Wienermobile is coming to Marietta. The world-famous vehicle will be at the Walmart at 1785 Cobb Parkway S on Saturday from 11am to 4 pm. It will also be in Atlanta on Super Bowl Sunday itself at the Walmart at 835 MLK Jr. Drive from 9 am to 1 pm.

The first Wienermobile was created in 1936 by Carl Mayer. The 1952 Wienermobile has been living for years in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. The 1969 Wienermobile model featured Ford Thunderbird taillights, a Chevy motor home frame and averaged 187 miles per gallon.

Six different Wienermobile are driving across the U.S. at any given time.
