Tripadvisor has released the top 25 best beaches in the United States. See which beach in Georgia made the list.
GEORGIA — If you're looking for the best spot to soak in some sun and sink your toes in the sand, you may want to take a trip to Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island.
According to Tripadvisor's 2022 "Best of the Best," it has one of the best beaches in the country. Out of the top 25 beaches to make the travel review website's list, Driftwood Beach took the No. 6 spot.
“I can understand why they did filming from 'The Walking Dead' here. The oak trees are enormous. A must-see sight that is great for photographers," posted one featured reviewer.

Driftwood Beach features ancient driftwood monuments that line the waterfront, creating an unforgettable backdrop, according to the Jekyll Island Authority's website.
USA Today has previously featured Driftwood Beach as one of the best Southern beaches for a weekend escape.
