Georgia Weather Forecast: A 90-Degree Mother's Day?

Find out just how hot it's supposed to get, and when, as well as what the weather will be like on Mother's Day in metro Atlanta.

ATLANTA, GA — It was bound to happen. And, on Mother's Day weekend it will, if weather forecasters are to be believed.

Just days into the merry month of May, with more than a month to go before the first day of summer, metro Atlanta temperatures are expected to climb above 90 degrees this weekend.

We're expected to hit that mark some time on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. And it'll just keep on climbing from there, with a forecast high of 91 degrees in Atlanta on Mother's Day.

There probably won't be much in the way of a breeze to make things feel more comfortable, either, with calm winds in the forecast all the way through the weekend. Otherwise, though, it'll be a pleasant outside, with not a drop of rain in the weekend weather forecast.
