Georgia Weather Forecast: Spring Has Sprung (With Some Showers)

Pleasant temperatures with a chance of showers — find out when metro Atlanta will get what this lovely spring weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — It doesn't get much more "springtime in Georgia" than this weekend's forecast, folks.

Warm temperatures, but not blazing hot. Mostly sunny, but with a chance of a few showers. When we're sweltering in 100-degree summer heat and humidity, or bunkered down during "snowpocalypse" winter days, this is the weather we dream about.

After a high of 85 on Friday, we're looking at things getting a shade cooler, with a high of 82 on Saturday and 81 on Sunday. And it will be mostly sunny, although a chance of showers rolls in on Saturday at about 4 p.m. and runs all the way through 2 a.m. or so.

Otherwise, it's all good stuff. Lows will only be in the low 60s, so it'll be nice out if you want to go try to catch a glimpse of the Eta Aquarid meteor shower on Friday or Sunday night.
