Celebrate Halloween at Atlanta's "Castle on Peachtree"

From GA Trust: The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation will host two Halloween-themed events this month at historic Rhodes Hall, Atlanta's "Castle on Peachtree Street," located at 1516 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta.

Costumes and Cocktails at the Castle: Come as You Aren't

The Georgia Trust's second annual Halloween party, Costumes and Cocktails at the Castle: Come as You Aren't, will take take place this Friday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. Guests 21+ are invited to a freakishly fun Halloween party at historic Rhodes Hall, where they'll have fun, sip devilishly delicious elixirs, and hit the dance floor in their best costumes to party the night away. $35 in advance, $40 at the door. Tickets are available at www.georgiatrust.org and include cocktails, dessert and a spooktacular good time. Ages 21+

Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle 5K

The Georgia Trust's tenth annual Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle 5K, a dog and stroller friendly event, is set for Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. Families are invited to wear costumes and run or walk through the creepy twists and ghoulish hills of one of Atlanta’s oldest and most boo-tiful neighborhoods, Ansley Park. Entry fee includes complimentary barbecue sandwiches, tasty treats and a race t-shirt. All ages and fitness levels welcome. $40 per participant. Use coupon code HAUNTEDCASTLE to save $5.
