LifeLine Animal Project Presents our Amazing Fulton Pets of the Week! Also, Attend Some of our Great Fall Events!

Meet some of LifeLine's Dogs at the Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum and the Atlanta Fulton Public Library!

In addition to the many offsite adoption events we have going on every weekend, LifeLine Animal Project has lots going on this Fall. Two events happening this week are with The Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum and the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library.

Explore the Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum and meet some of our great shelter pets too! LifeLine Animal Project will be holding an adoption event at the museum on Sunday, October 18, from noon to 4 p.m., with some wonderful dogs who would be very happy to meet you. The Center is located at 100 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd, between the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca Cola, so why not make a day of it, and then take a new awesome family member home too! For more information about the Center for Civil and Human Rights, please visit www.civilandhumanrights.org.

LifeLine is also partnering with the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library to celebrate that October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library recognizes that millions of animals enter shelters every year in need of a loving home. To help spread the valuable message that pet adoption is critical, they are hosting several events with LifeLine’s sweet pups at their Central and East Atlanta Branch Libraries.

On October 17th and 24th, stop by, say hello, and meet some furry friends on the East Atlanta library patio. We have found that kids love reading to our pups, and our dogs LOVE the attention! Then, on October 21st at Noon, we invite you to a Pet Adoption Information Fair at the Central library. Learn about the benefits of adoption for animals and humans, and get information on the adoption process, the importance of spay/neuter, and animal health and training.

LifeLine’s Fulton County Pets of the Week: Rolo, Queen and Dani

Find out what's happening in Midtownwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Are you looking for something sweet as Halloween approaches? Then meet Queen, a happy girl who always has a smile on her face! This petite girl weighs 35 lbs., and came into the shelter three months ago with her brother who has already been adopted. Queen loves to go outside in the shelter play yards, run around and then come back to the people who she is with to tell them thank you. She loves belly rubs, snuggling, running and being a couch potato. She is already spayed, microchipped and vaccinated and is waiting patiently for you at the shelter!

Our next sweetie is Rolo, a Golden Retriever mix who is smart and affectionate. This 60 lb. hunk of love is very handsome, despite the fact that he came in with wounds on his face. Rolo loves to be pet, enjoys chasing balls in the play yard and has a smile for everyone he meets. Come meet him today!

Our final pet is a beautiful cat named Dani. This little girl is a social butterfly who gets along with other cats and loves to be held and pet. Dani will sometimes perch on a shelter visitor’s shoulder like a little bird. Dani would love to meet you in the cat adoption room today!

Rolo, Queen and Dani are available for FREE during October, so hurry in today! To meet them, simply drop by the shelter, email [email protected] or call 404-613-0357. To view dogs or cats available for adoption, please visit the shelter at 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, 30318 or go to www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
