Major Road Closure Near Midtown Begins Monday

ATLANTA, GA -- A portion of Howell Mill Road NW will be closed for two weeks, beginning Monday, due to sewer repairs. Howell Mill Road NW between Wesley Drive NW and Peachtree Battle Avenue will be closed between 9 am and 4 pm while crews clean a sewer main.

Traffic control measures and flaggers will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Traveling North on Howell Mill Road NW, make right onto Woodley Drive NW, turn right onto Wesley Drive NW toward Northside Drive NW, turn left on Peachtree Battle back towards Howell Mill Road NW and make the right onto Howell Mill.

Traveling Southbound on Howell Mill Road NW, make a left on Peachtree Battle Avenue towards Northside Drive NW, make the right on Northside, turn right onto Wesley Drive NW to Woodley Drive NW, turn left on Woodley Drive and make the left onto Howell Mill.
