MIDTOWN, GA — After a bomb threat at Midtown High School Thursday, Atlanta Public Schools told Patch no devices were found.

A threat was called in to the school around 9 a.m., causing staff and students to evacuate and a thorough police search of the school to include K-9 units, said Seth Coleman, APS director of media relations and television broadcast.

All staff and students were safe, and school ended early as scheduled at 12:30 p.m. Police with the school district are continuing to investigate the source of the call, Coleman said.
