Pets who fled the loud fireworks during Fourth of July celebrations, combined with unfixed pets having babies in warmer months, have resulted in a flood of animals coming into our Fulton shelter. With an average of 30 pets arriving at Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) daily, we are bursting at the seams! You can help by coming into the shelter and adopting a new family member. You’ll save a life and you’ll save money!

You may adopt any dog over 25 lbs. or any cat or kitten for only $17.76 through the end of July. This includes their spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines and more! So come visit FCAS today!

If you’re looking for a puppy who loves to play, then you’ll want to meet our first Pet of the Week, Janice. This beautiful, 23 lb., bouncy girl enjoys running around with people, playing with dogs and chasing toys all over the yard. When she’s not playing, Janice likes to snuggle and give kisses. She is a happy girl who is good with other dogs and kids, so she’d make a great new family member.

Our second Pet of the Week is Ember, a super sweet petite dog who is the perfect size for any home. Ember has great manners and walks wonderfully on a leash. She is also a very gentle and kind girl who does great with other dogs and kids. Ember enjoys taking walks, cuddling with people and rolling around in the grass.
