The Queso Shop Now Open In Piedmont Heights
The Queso Shop opened as a kitchen and takeout window, rather than full-service restaurant, featuring a variety of Tex Mex food.
MIDTOWN, GA — A new restaurant concept is now open in Piedmont Heights near Midtown.
The Queso Shop, a new kitchen and takeout window from the team behind Yumbii and The Queso Truck, opened March 1 at 2127 Liddell Drive in Atlanta, according to a news release. Guests can order online for pickup or delivery, or order at the walk-up window.
“During the pandemic, we saw the rise of ghost kitchens and virtual restaurants, and we think those are here to stay,” said Carson Young, owner of The Queso Shop, in the release. “We’re excited to bring fans of Yumbii and The Queso Truck a new location with easy pick-up and ordering capabilities.”

The Queso Shop's menu includes dishes such as queso, tacos, quesadillas, salsas, rotisserie chicken, handmade churros and other menu items, the release said. A Mexican rotisserie chicken family meal is available daily after 4 p.m. while supplies last, serving groups of three to four people.
The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. or until supplies run out. Delivery can be ordered on The Queso Shop website, GrubHub or DoorDash. Pick-up can be ordered on the website.
