Tech Legend Taz Anderson Passes Away
Anderson was a gridiron star for both Tech and the Falcons, and a hugely successful entrepreneur.
ATLANTA, GA — Outpourings of grief were abundant Tuesday morning in the wake of Tech legend Taz Anderson's passing.
Anderson, 77, died Monday, according to the online guestbook that has been created in his wake. Anderson was a member of both the Georgia Tech and Georgia Sports halls of fame. At Tech, he was a fullback; a three-time letterman; and was All-SEC in 1959.
He was a member of the very first Atlanta Falcons team in 1966 and would go on to play 62 NFL games.
