Who is LifeLine Animal Project? And Meet Our Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week

Learn about the organization that cared for over 15,000 last year, and meet two little cuties who are calm and sweet!

Did you know that LifeLine Animal Project is a nonprofit organization that manages both DeKalb County Animal Services and Fulton County Animal Services?

Did you know that since we began managing both shelters almost two years ago, more than twice as many animals are now leaving the shelters alive, despite the fact that we have 20-30 animals coming into the shelter daily?!

LifeLine employees work very hard at saving lives, but that’s not all we do.

LifeLine also offers free and low-cost spay/neuters at our two clinics, and has performed over 80,000 spay/neuter surgeries since beginning in 2002!

Additionally, LifeLine offers free and low-cost vaccines, cares for animals at our own rehabilitative shelter, brought trap-neuter-return to Atlanta to humanely control the feral cat population and much more.

Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week: Poppet and Ashes

LifeLine Animal Project presents Fulton County Animal Services Pet of the Week. Meet Poppet, an adorable little girl who is two years old and weighs 32 lbs. Poppet has a sweet personality, cute, large pointy ears and soft fur. She feels safest when she is around people, and she enjoys being right next to people.

Our next Pet of the Week came in with Poppet and likes spending time with her. Meet Ashes, a very gentle boy who is also two years old and weighs 35 lbs. Ashes is super sweet and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. This brindle colored cutie has big fuzzy ears and a calm demeanor. He wants nothing more than a person to love him and a home to call his own.

Come meet Poppet or Ashes today, and take advantage of our “Pick a Lucky Charm” promotion. During March, you’ll pay an adoption fee of only $45, including vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. To meet either of these sweeties, drop by the shelter, email [email protected] or call 404-613-0357. To view dogs or cats available for adoption, please visit the shelter at 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, 30318 or go to www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
