Up to 30 Residents Displaced by Fire: Reports

The early morning fire at Brandon Hills Apartments left eight apartments uninhabitable.

Thirty Clarkson residents are without a home after a fire early Saturday morning at the Brandon Hills Apartments.

WSB TV reports DeKalb County Fire Rescue crews were called just after midnight. Fire Capt. Eric Jackson said eight apartments were heavily damaged by the fire and are uninhabitable.

The fire left 27 adults and three children without housing. The Red Cross is the victims with food, clothing and a place to stay for the weekend.
