In Loving Memory of Carolyn Hilsman Turner, 83

Carolyn Hilsman Turner, 83, of Smyrna passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016.

Mrs. Turner was a fully devoted follower of Christ who loved her family and was known lovingly as “Mumsie”.

Mrs. Turner’s life will be celebrated in a small private family service.

The family will receive friends 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Powder Springs.

Mrs. Turner is survived by daughters, Cindy Ingle and Lynn Guthrie (Stan); sons, Jerry (Laquita), Gary (Angela), Ken (Stephanie); twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Turner, Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations made to the Calvary Children’s Home, 1430 Lost Mountain Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta will be handling the arrangements.
