A lockdown at Brookwood High School was lifted Wednesday after police searched the campus for active threats.

SNELLVILLE, GA — The lockdown at Brookwood High School Wednesday has been lifted, Gwinnett police told Patch.

No credible threat was found, police said.

Authorities said the Gwinnett County Police Department was in the area to assist student resource officers with searching the campus for any active threat.
