In Memory: Colin Klein, 27, Loved Fostering Dogs

Klein, of Woodstock, loved animals, physical science, music, automobiles and doted on his son.

Mr. Colin Klein, age 27, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Mr. Klein was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Colin came to us in the summer of 1991 and had lived a life of wonder, discovery, challenge and intensity. From an early age he demonstrated a deep interest in the detail of all things beginning with physical science, music, automobiles, and philosophy.

He loved all creatures from insects and frogs to the many foster dogs his family kept during his life. His intelligence, loyalty, sharp sense of humor and sensitivity shaped his life and in his travels touched the lives of countless people who connected with him through these.

Above all he was a loving father and doted on his son. The sight of the two of them together was nothing short of amazing.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandii Klein. Survivors include his wife, Brooke Klein; son, Aidan Klein; parents, Michael and Michelle Klein; sister, Christina Messer; grandparents, Donald Klein, Lucy Weaver and Jack Lynch; and niece, Jordan Howell.
