6 Injured In McHenry County Crash

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Six people were injured in a two-vehicle collision near Marengo Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The Marengo Fire & Rescue District was called to the collision at Route 23 and River Road in unincorporated Marengo at about 2:40 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the fire and rescue district.

Six people were taken the hospital, including five people who were traveling in a Buick sports utility vehicle and one who was driving a Hyundai sedan, police said.
