99 Homes, 150 Townhouses Coming To New Algonquin Subdivision

ALGONQUIN, IL — The Algonquin Village Board has approved a plan to build a subdivision that will include 99 single-family homes and 150 townhouses near Westfield Community School in Algonquin.

Lennar, a homebuilding company, will be tasked with transforming the 80 vacant acres into a new subdivision, which will be called Algonquin Meadows and will be located north of Longmeadow Parkway, west of Westfield Community School, south of Willoughby Farms subdivision and east of Randall Road, Shaw Local News Network is reporting.

The Algonquin Village Board approved the proposal in a 6-0 vote on Tuesday. The townhouses are expected to be priced between $375,000 and $650,000, according to the article.
