Algonquin Business Boom: Cooper's Hawk, First Watch Coming Soon

Other businesses set to open soon are PickleHaus, Portillo's, America's Antique Mall, Fun City Adventure Park and Raising Cane's.

ALGONQUIN, IL — A new business boom will be hitting Algonquin in the coming months.

Shaw Local News Networks reports the following businesses have or are slated to open soon:

  • Dave's Hot Chicken, a fast-casual restaurant with locations across the suburbs, opened its first Algonquin location at 1492 S. Randall Road last Friday
  • Picklehaus, a pickle ball facility, will open its 41,000-square-foot entertainment venue and eatery in the former Dania Furniture at 1621 Randall Road on Friday.
  • Cooper's Hawk will open its newest winery and restaurant at 1741 S Randall Road around Nov. 29 and a new Portillo's is expected to open on 1801 S. Randall Road on Nov. 21.
  • America's Antique Mall, which will feature more than 250 booths of antique vendors selling furniture, collectibles and clothing, is set to open at 2451 S. Randall Road on Nov. 24.
  • Other businesses expected to open soon along Randall Road include Raising Cane's, First Watch, Chipotle, Fun City Adventure Park and Belle Tire. New businesses are expected to start popping up at Algonquin Commons by the end of the year, with Fresh Market slated to make its debut next summer.

"It's exciting to see our vacant store and restaurant spaces are opening now with new-purposefacilities," said village president Debby Sosine.
