There are umbrellas and fire pits. Among readers favorite beers to have are the brewery's "Main Beach Pour" and the "Hoptopus." The brewery occasionally has food trucks, and you can also have food delivered or bring your own.

The Cottage, 6 E. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake

The massive deck area at The Cottage got a nod from readers as a great place to enjoy a summer afternoon or evening. The burgers were picked as one of the best menu items.

Tbe Quarry Bar & Grille, 7 Northwest Highway

The restaurant has "an awesome outdoor atmosphere," according to one Patch.com readers. "It's very pretty and quiet."

The business has seating on the street in Cary and great happy hours deals during the week. Their are lights strung up and great ambiance at night as well.
