3 Newcomers Poised To Win District 158 Seats: Unofficial Results

ALGONQUIN AND LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Voters have picked three new faces to join the Huntley Consolidated District 158 school board, according to unofficial vote tallies.

With all precincts reporting Wednesday morning, newcomers Laura Murray, Andrew Bittman and Gina Galligar had a clear lead in the race. And three incumbents, Jonathan Dailey, Melissa M. Maiorino and William Geheren, appeared on track to be voted off the board.

Here is a look at all the vote tallies as of Wednesday morning:

2. Andrew Bittman: 1743
3. Gina Galligar: 1686
4. Katherine (Kate) Policheri: 1250
5. Jonathan Dailey: 921
6. Paula Yensen: 882
7. Stephen G. Buchs: 733
8. Melissa M. Maiorino: 731
9. William Geheren: 440

On Tuesday, voters living within the boundaries of District 158 were also asked to pick from three newcomers looking to serve a two-year term on the board. With all precincts reporting, here are the results for that race

• Andrew Fekete: 470
• Kevin Gentry (incumbent): 694
• Michael Thompson: 1837
