Dundee-Crown High School Presents The Addams Family

Dundee Crown High School presents the musical comedy The Addams Family, A New Musical. Show dates are March 5th and 6th at 7pm, March 7th at 2pm and 7pm and March 8th at 2pm. All performances will take place at Dundee Crown High School, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville, IL. The Addams Family brings the beloved and bizarre first family of comedy to life. The frightfully delightful world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and Lurch comes to life in this all new story, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams. The magnificently morbid family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling them into a night that will change their lives forever.

Producer Christina Cummins said, “The portrait of the Addams Family may look dark and ominous, but they are just like every other family. This hilarious musical accurately depicts the various dynamics that occur within families, which is why I chose this musical. Both performers and audience members can find moments that they can relate to, and through that, we can find comfort in our own family portraits.”
