Join a worldwide event right here in Lake in the Hills! On January 17, we’re hosting the Lake in the Hills Ice Bowl® Disc Golf Tournament at Linda K. Fischer Park, located at 5962 Grafton Farm Drive. Tee times start at 9:30 a.m.
The Ice Bowl® is a series of worldwide disc golf events held during winter months with an overall mission of collecting donations to fight hunger no matter the weather conditions. No wimps, no whiners!

Tickets for players ages 15 and up cost $25 for Lake in the Hills residents or $27 for non-residents. Kids ages 14 and under play for free with a paying adult 18+.

The fee includes an event souvenir, hot lunch, fire pit party, and disc golf awards. A six-item donation (non-perishable food item or household cleaning products) in addition to the registration fee is required for players ages 15 and older. Donations will be accepted during your tee time check-in.
Experience the nine-hole disc golf course and support three local food pantries with non-perishable donations at this recreational day of play. Donations will support the D300 Food Pantry, the Grafton Food Pantry, and the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry.
Players can only play the course with three discs (putter, mid-range, and driver) to create a level playing field. A limited number of discs will be available for players to borrow during the tournament.
Experienced and beginner player categories include overall lowest score, closet to the pin, and the “Ring of Fire” contest. Awards will be spread out. Top winners will not take all.
Mulligan shots are available with a donation of five non-perishable items from our “Most Needed” list per shot. See the “Most Needed” item lists from each food pantry below.
