LITH Offers Story Times At Local Parks, Splash Pad

The free story times will kick off on Tuesday and continue on select dates in June and July.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation Department will be offering free summer story times at parks throughout the village in June and July.

The story times will be held at:

  • 10 a.m. on June 11 at Leroy Guy Park with the Huntley Library
  • 10:15 a.m. on June 19 at Sunset Park splash pad with the Algonquin Library
  • 10 a.m. at July 9 at Avalon Park with the Huntley Library
  • 10:15 a.m. on July 24 at Sunset Park Splashed with the Algonquin Library

There will be activities planned for after story time with recreation staff, according to the village of Lake in the Hills Facebook post. Those stopping out are encouraged to bring their sunscreen and hats, and prepare for a morning filled with stories, fun, and play.
