LITH Picks New Assistant Village Administrator

Trevor Bosack, the village's director of parks and recreation, has been picked as the village's assistant village administrant.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Trevor Bosack, the village of Lake in the Hills director of parks and recreation, has been picked as the village's assistant village administrator.

Bosack previously worked for the village from 2007 to 2014 before returning last August as the village’s director of parks and recreation.

“Trevor has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a strong work ethic during his time at the Village,” said village administrator Shannon Andrews, “He has shown a great ability to motivate and inspire his team and has played a key role in driving our success. I have no doubt that Trevor will continue to excel in his new role, and I look forward to seeing all that he will achieve.”

Over the past year, Bosack redeveloped the Parks & Recreation Department, launched the long-term Parks Master Plan process, finalized the Lynn Dillow playground installation, and assisted in leading the celebration of the village’s 70th anniversary, according to a news release from the village.

“I’m excited to embark on a new role with the Village and look forward to continue serving my community,” stated Assistant Administrator Bosack. “I’m proud of what we accomplished as a team over the past year and look forward to what the future brings.”

Bosack previously served as assistant to the village administrator for the village of Hinsdale and the village of Woodridge. Bosack has a bachelor’s degree in park, recreation, and tourism and holds a master’s degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University, according to the news release.
