SOUTH ORANGE, NJ —When the Big East announced its Weekly Honor Roll for volleyball Monday, Lake In the Hills resident and Huntley High grad Taylor Jakubowski was not on the list.

That in itself is news, since the the sophomore setter had become a regular on the weekly seven-member list earlier this month, earning Big East honors in back-to-back weeks.

On Oct. 4, Jakubowski was selected to the Honor Roll after she was a force both offensively and defensively in a five-set win over Providence (Oct. 1) and three-set loss to Creighton (Oct. 2).
