Man Pulled From Woods Creek Lake: Police

The man had been swimming with a companion when he appeared at the surface of the water "unconscious and unresponsive" on Saturday.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A man was taken to the hospital after being pulled from Woods Creek Lake in Lake in the Hills Saturday evening.

The man was pulled from the water by a companion and two nearby fishermen after he'd been swimming with the companion near LaBahn Hain House at about 5 p.m. Saturday and "appeared at the surface of the water unconscious and unresponsive," according to Shaw Local News Network.

The man was taken to Northwestern Huntley Hospital, and an update on his condition was not immediately available.
