McHenry County Board Approves 6 New Solar Farms

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Six new solar farms will be coming to McHenry County.

The McHenry County Board this past week approved the addition of the solar farms, which will be located mostly in western McHenry County, according to Shaw Media News Network. The solar farms include one located between Anthony and Harmony roads near Marengo, on O'Cock Road near Union, on North Fleming Road near Woodstock, on Route 120 near Woodstock, near Hemmingsen Road near Union and on Route 173 near Harvard.

The McHenry County Board also recently approved a solar farm in Crystal Lake.
