The National Weather Service in Chicago issued a heat advisory for Saturday, in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Peak heat indices will range from 105 to 110 degrees, with temperatures in the middle 90s, the NWS reports.

“The combination of heat and humidity will create oppressive conditions which may cause heat-related illnesses to develop due to prolonged exposure,” warns the NWS, “particularly the elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions.”

The hottest hours on Saturday will begin at 1 p.m. and end at 5 p.m.
