Raising Cane's Opens In Algonquin

Those stopping out to the new Randall Road restaurant could win Free Cane's For A Year, t-shirts and get food and drinks.

ALGONQUIN, IL — Raising Cane's will be opening in Algonquin on Thursday.

As part of its opening day celebration, the restaurant will be giving away free Cane's for a year to two lucky customers. Entries for that content will be accepted from 8:30 to 9 a.m. at the new restaurant, 1701 S. Randall Road, with winners being announced at 9 a.m., and customers must be present to win, according to a news release.

The restaurant, which services up its famous Cane's chicken fingers, freshly squeezed lemonade and buttery Texas toast, will also be handing out a commemorative T-shirt and a free box combo meal for their next visit to the first 100 customers who order a combo meal.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. Representatives from the village of Algonquin and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dundee Township will be on hand at the ceremony, and Raising Cane's representatives will present a donation to the Boys and Girls Club.

Complimentary hot beverages from Sweet Ride Dessert Truck will also be available from 8 to 10 a.m.

“I’m so excited to be opening the newest Raising Cane’s Restaurant in the town that neighbors where I grew up, near the Elgin area, and where I’ve lived my entire life”, said Jacob Allen, Restaurant Leader. “I’m looking forward to bringing our craveable Chicken Finger meals to the Algonquin and can’t wait to get involved with the Community and show our support.”

Algonquin's Raising Cane’s will bet pen from 10 a.m. to midnight on Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to midnight, and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday to Saturday.
