Your Guide To Art On The Fox

Reservations are encouraged for those stopping out to the festival this weekend in downtown Algonquin.

ALGONQUIN, IL — Art on the Fox will be held this weekend in downtown Algonquin.

Nearly 100 artists will showcase their work at this year's festival, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The free festival held along the river will showcase the work of top national juried artists, live musical performances, interactive artist demonstrations, and other family-friendly activities, according to a news release.

Visitors can shop for paintings, ceramics, glass, jewelry, sculpture and more. There will also be live musical performances from Cirrus Falcon and Ron Steta Trio will take place in the newly renovated downtown of Algonquin, and many local eateries and shops are within walking distance from the show.

Admission to this fest is free. Walk-ups are welcome but festival organizers are encouraging timed reservations be made online. Free parking is available throughout the downtown area.
