Your Guide To Rockin Ribfest In Lake In The Hills

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — Ribs, music and more ribs — Lake in the Hills Rockin' Ribfest is underway and will continue through the weekend.

The festival, which is organized by the Lake in the Hills Rotary, is held at Sunset Park in Lake in the Hills and opens at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Those stopping out can also expect a carnival and the festival's vendor blender, where you can purchase goods from includes crafters, creators and local entrepreneurs.

Rib vendors from around the country will be on hand at the event for festival goers to give their food a taste. The entrance fee is $5, and the festival runs from 4:30 to 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
