$427K Investment Made In Paratransit Vehicles For Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Two Arlington Heights organizations, and one from Rolling Meadows, will be receiving new paratransit vehicles. According to a Wednesday announcement from State Senator Ann Gillespie (D-Arlington Heights), the locals will receive $427,000 as part of the Consolidated Vehicle Procurement Program.

Clearbrook and Xilin Association in Arlington Heights, and the Northwest Special Recreation Association in Rolling Meadows, are set to receive four vehicles.

"These new vehicles will help expand the opportunities offered to seniors and individuals with disabilities," Gillespie said. "By investing in improved transportation, we are ensuring essential programs and services are in better reach for those who need it most."
