HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — The love between a long-haired Chihuahua and her family’s postal carrier has caught the internet’s attention, with the unlikely pair going viral.

More than two years ago, young four-legged Frannie met postman Dan Larsen, marking the start of a friendship so strong it sparked the nickname “FranDan,” according to FOX 32, which reported that an early video of Frannie showering Larsen with love racked up 1 million views in just days.

The pair’s meetings are chronicled on social media for Frannie’s 730,000 followers, capturing how she runs to greet Larsen outside the Hoffman Estates home of her owners, Lisa and Dwayne Laskey, the Daily Herald reported, noting Larsen gets along with all the dogs on his route.
