Closures Alert: What's Open, Closed Due To Icy Weather

Arlington-area schools and businesses announce closures and cancellations ahead of tonight's predicted freezing rain and icy weather.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Freezing rain, snow and ice accumulations in the forecast Tuesday night is prompting area schools and businesses to close.

The National Weather Service Chicago is predicting ice accumulations of up to a quarter-inch by Wednesday morning. Forecasters warn this could create hazardous travel conditions.
