Augustana's Cochrane Nominated For 'More Than I Imagined' Series

Augustana College senior Andrew Cochrane, an English education major from Arlington Heights, IL (60004), was nominated to submit a 'More Than I Imagined' profile by Dr. David Crowe, professor of English. Annually, faculty nominate Augustana's seniors who have achieved remarkable academic or personal growth to appear in the college's 'More Than I Imagined' series. "Andrew seems to fall in love with every book I assign in a course, and then he asks for another title by the same author," Dr. Crowe said. "He loves to talk books and ideas before and after class and then, in his unassuming way, leads the day's discussion. He is going to be an excellent English teacher, and his students will be lucky to have someone who can model true compassion, curiosity and love of books."
