6,600-Plus Huskers Named To Spring Deans' List

More than 6,600 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year. Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Students named to the list from Arlington Heights include:

Behles One Of Only 23 students To Earn 3 Degrees At University of Iowa

In May, more than 6,500 students at the University of Iowa received their degrees. Among that group, however, were just 23 students whose celebration of that personal milestone was three times as meaningful because they had successfully earned three degrees. Amanda Behles, of Arlington Heights, was one of the three-degree graduates. Behles was a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the College of Education where Amanda earned degrees in these areas of academic study: Psychology, Mathmatics and Mathematics Education, respectively. Like Behles, the 2024 spring semester graduates engaged, excelled, and stretched to reach their academic goals.

Kipley One Of 550 Graduates At University Of Iowa To Earn 2 Degrees

In May, more than 6,500 students at the University of Iowa received their degrees. Among that group, however, were more than 550 whose celebration of that personal milestone was twice as meaningful because they had successfully earned two degrees. Sloan Kipley, of Arlington Heights, was one of the two-degree graduates. Kipley was a student in the Tippie College of Business, where Sloan earned degrees in Business Analytics and Information Systems, and Finance.

Local Students Named To Dean's List At Eastern Illinois University

More than 860 undergraduate students have been named to Eastern Illinois University’s Spring 2024 Deans' List. The Dean's List at EIU recognizes undergraduates with a declared major whose academic performance has been excellent. Students who achieve a GPA of 3.80 to 4.00 (on a 4.00 scale) while completing a minimum of 12 graded semester hours, excluding credit/no credit grades, in a fall or spring semester will be named to the Dean's List. Students from Arlington Heights named to the list include:

Melissa Bivolarov, of Arlington Heights, has made the Dean's List at Monmouth College for the spring semester. A health sci & human movement major, Bivolarov is the child of Ivan and Srebrina Bivolarov of Arlington Heights.

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to more than 5,700 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 266th Commencement exercises May 2 - 4, 2024, at McCamish Pavilion. Among the graduates from Arlington Heights were:

Wang Earns Faculty Honors At Georgia Tech For Spring 2024 Semester

Andrew Wang, of Arlington Heights, earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2024 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

McCabe Selected To Nebraska Business Honors Academy

Delaney McCabe, of Arlington Heights, a recent graduate of Rolling Meadows High School, is among 38 high-achieving first-year students selected to join the Nebraska Business Honors Academy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall. Comprising the academy's 12th cohort, the students hail from seven U.S. states and 13 Nebraska communities.
McCabe intends to major in business and law.

Boyan Named To College of Charleston President's List

Janine Boyan, of Arlington Heights, was named to the College of Charleston Spring 2024 President's List. Boyan is majoring in Supply Chain Management. To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.
