Local Students Participate In Carthage College J-Term Study Tours
The following Carthage College students traveled during J-Term, a month-long period to explore subject areas. A Carthage tradition since the early 1970s, J-Term, or January Term, study tours allow students to experience new cultures and ideas without committing to a full semester abroad. Local Arlington Heights students included:
- Zoey Kurka studied Jane Austen's Persuasion in England
- Rachel Meilinger studied Global Perspectives in Healthcare: Service Learning in Honduras
- Marisa Pacocha studied Geography and Biology of Nicaragua

University of Tampa Honors Dean's List Students for the Fall 2023 Semester
The University of Tampa has honored 2,217 students who were named to the dean's list for the Fall 2023 semester. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list. The following Arlington Heights students were named to the dean's list:

Millikin University Fall 2023 Dean's List Announced
Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester. Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted earn High Dean's List honors. The Arlington Heights students named to the Dean's List at Millikin University are listed in alphabetical order according to last name:

Wang Named To Dean's List At Georgia Tech for the Fall 2023 Semester
Andrew Wang, of Arlington Heights, made the Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.
