Exciting Events and Opportunities Await in Vernon Township!

Welcome Aboard - Meet the Newest Township Clerk: Fabiola “Fabbi” Vasquez has been recently selected as the new Vernon Township Clerk. She replaces Tim Kobler, who was appointed to serve as Township Supervisor in April. Vasquez oversees voter registration, voting by mail, early voting sites, and election information within Vernon Township. Make sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her at the Township office!

VT Palooza is Thursday, June 13: Join the Township for their inaugural VT Palooza Thursday, June 13 from 5-8 p.m. This event will have something for the whole family,
including carnival and lawn games, live music, bounce houses, food vendors and discounts for the Aquatic Center. Learn more at vernontownship.com.

Summer Camp Starts Monday, June 17: Registration is now open for children from 4-7 years of age and the camp runs from Monday, June 17 through Friday, August 2 at William E. Peterson Park (16652 N. Buffalo Grove Road in Vernon Hills). Children will enjoy an educational experience with activities such as arts and crafts, sports, swimming, sing-a-longs and more! 15th Annual Community Garage Sale Saturday, June 22: The Township’s 15th annual Community Garage Sale will be held in the west parking lot at Prairie View Metra Station (23034 N. Main Street, Buffalo Grove) rain or shine, Saturday, June 22 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. If you would like to be a vendor at this event, the Township has spaces available, with proceeds benefiting the Township Food Pantry. Blood Drive Event Thursday, July 11: Join us for two more blood drives co-sponsored with State Representative Dan Didech in partnership with the American Red Cross this year.
