ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Founded by former NFL player Will Bartholomew in 2001, D1 Training will be opening a new fitness center for youth athletes in Arlington Heights next month. The facility, set to open on June 3, will be located at 71 West Rand Road.

According to the Nashville-based company, neighbors and residents can meet the facility's team at its grand opening event on July 13, which will also feature other local Chicagoland venders, Kona Ice and more. Chirag and Shraddha Shah are the owners of the Arlington Heights franchise location.

"We are so excited to open this new D1 Training location and be able to work with youth in the area to continue to grow in the sports they care so much about," Shraddha Shah said. "We love the idea of boosting their overall growth beyond just strength training so they can reach their highest potential on the field."
