ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — Arguably the greatest kicker in the history of the Chicago Bears, Robbie Gould has a new gig — high school football coach. The 41-year-old is now in charge of the Rolling Meadows varsity football team. For Gould, coaching is in the blood.

"I'm excited. This is something that I grew up with a father who coached high school soccer. My brother coaches for the [Los Angeles] Chargers as a special teams coach. I coached my three boys, who are 10, 8, and 5, in most of their sports," Gould said during a Tuesday press conference at the school, available here on WFLD-TV's YouTube station.

Gould, who played 18 seasons in the NFL, was a member of the Chicago Bears from 2005 to 2015. He is the franchise's all-time leading scorer, an accomplishment he made during the 2015 season. Gould is also No. 10 in NFL history for scoring. He was an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection in 2006. In addition to the Bears, Gould had stints with the New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers.

"I wanted to make sure the kids, the staff and the students here got a chance to meet me first and have some questions," Gould said before meeting with the media.
