Jewel, Mariano's: Christmas 2022 Grocery Hours In Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Families across Illinois are preparing to gather this Christmas, when many will enjoy good company, lots of presents and the perfect holiday meal.

In our quest to make that perfect holiday meal, it’s quite possible we’ll forget an item or two on our grocery lists. While many grocery stores in Illinois will close on Christmas Day, a few will be open for those last-minute additions to the menu. Most also will be open Christmas Eve.

Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, along with those that won’t. As always, Patch encourages you to call ahead to your local store to confirm hours at that location.

Value Fresh Market: Open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.

• International Plaza Shopping Center, 450 E Golf Road, Arlington Heights

Aldi: ALDI stores are closed on Christmas Day. However, ALDI stores will operate limited hours on Christmas Eve and will close by 7 p.m.

• 550 E Golf Road, Arlington Heights

Costco: Some stores will be open for limited hours on Christmas Eve, and all stores will be closed Christmas Day. Call ahead to confirm hours with your local store.

• 999 N Elmhurst Road, Mt Prospect

CVS: All 24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will remain open with regular hours on Thanksgiving. Non-24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will close at 5 p.m. Some locations may have reduced pharmacy hours or may be closed for the holiday. The company recommends calling ahead to confirm store hours.

Jewel-Osco: Stores will be open but close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day.

Mariano’s: Stores and pharmacies close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and remain closed Christmas Day.

Sam’s Club: Stores will be open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.

• 101 W Oakton St., Des Plaines

Target: Most stores will close at 8 p.m. Christmas Eve. All stores are closed Christmas Day.

• 1700 E Rand Road, Arlington Heights

Trader Joe’s: All stores will close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Stores are closed Christmas Day.

• 17 W Rand Road, Arlington Heights

Walgreens: Walgreens stores will be open regular business hours on Christmas Eve. Pharmacy hours will vary by location. All 24-hour locations will remain open 24 hours. On Christmas Day, most stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., while 24-hour Walgreens locations and 24-hour pharmacies will remain open.
