Meet Chicago Northwest (MCNW) has introduced a new Passport Program to encourage visitors and local residents to explore nearby businesses, restaurants and retailers. After checking in at each location, patrons can earn points for exclusive #ChicagoNW merch, such as stickers, wine tumblers and pint glasses. The first passport program event is the Chicago Northwest Cork & Tap Trail to experience some of the area’s top bars, wineries and breweries, including Arlington Ale House in Arlington Heights, Mikerphone Brewery in Elk Grove Village, Lynfred Winery in Roselle and Church Street Brewing Company in Itasca.

Additional passports will be launched throughout the year with new trails to check out across Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Itasca, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, Schaumburg, Streamwood and Wood Dale. Individuals of all ages can join in the fun with the next Family Adventure Passport, in which local families can explore community staples like Medieval Times, coming soon.

“These passports are such a fun way to introduce more visitors, and even residents, to all of the cool venues in the Chicago Northwest suburbs,” says Heather Larson, president and CEO of Meet Chicago Northwest. “Participants will be rewarded with awesome merch for exploring our communities’ bustling businesses. The passports are a great way to get some summer plans on the books with day trips and weekend stays. We are excited to welcome new visitors to the northwest suburbs.”
