Motorcyclist Killed After Rear-Ending Truck Near Schaumburg: Police
The Wednesday afternoon crash occurred in the Interstate 90 eastbound lanes, according to Illinois State Police.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon after rear-ending a pickup truck while speeding on Interstate 90 near Schaumburg. Illinois State Police tell Patch the crash occurred at around 2:52 p.m.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, but the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office posted that it was a male and an autopsy is planned for Thursday.
The crash, which occurred just east of Roselle Road, closed traffic nearly four hours, according to police.
