Portion Of Palatine Road Closed For 3 Hours Following Crash: Cops

Police said a traffic accident in the area of Palatine Road and Route 53 will cause the area to remain closed for several more hours.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Part of Palatine Road will remain closed for "several hours" Monday morning after a traffic crash, officials said in a social media statement.

According to police, The ramp of eastbound Palatine Road at northbound Route 53 was closed at around 9:40 a.m. due to a traffic accident, but officials still had not reopened the roadway as of noon Monday.

Police said the road will remain closed for several more hours due to cleanup. No injuries were reported as of Monday afternoon.
