Renderings Of Upscale Restaurant In Downtown Mount Prospect Released

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — In May, it was announced a new upscale restaurant is coming to downtown Mount Prospect, located at the new 20West luxury apartment building. With a grand opening planned for later this year, Big Fish Hospitality is whetting the appetites of local residents by releasing renderings of The Prospect.

The two-story restaurant, which will be located on the ground level of the building, is designed by Barker/Nestor Architects.

Chef Mauro Berruti (Gibson's Italia, Bazaar Meat Chicago, Chicago Cut Steakhouse) and general manager Garrett Supples (Chicago Diner, Frontier, Ina Mae Tavern, Packaged Goods) are behind the new venture.

The menu will feature an array of cuisines from seafood to pasta and will incorporate charcoal and wood-fired elements – marrying both casual and fine dining.

Seating for the restaurant will span across two floors, accommodating 90 to 100 people on the first floor and 50 to 75 people upstairs on the second floor. A full bar will also be located on each level, with the upstairs offering a truly unique al fresco dining experience and serving as the restaurant’s private event space.

In addition to the renderings of the restaurant, Wingspan Development Group released renderings of a penthouse apartment at 20West. The six-story mixed-used building will include 71 residences. The newly available 2,713-square-foot penthouse rental comes with three bedrooms, three baths, sweeping views from three private balconies, custom finishes, and an open floor plan with industrial design touches. The penthouse also includes two prime parking spaces in the 20West garage, according to a news release.

“With its new restaurant and well-appointed penthouse, 20West offers a similar elevated lifestyle option with great dining and stylish, spacious living under the same roof. Local residents already have told us they’re excited about the new restaurant, and we believe there will be equally strong interest in the penthouse as there’s really nothing else like it in downtown Mount Prospect," Chris Coleman, vice president of development for Wingspan said.
