Rolling Meadows Courthouse Lit Up To Support Veterans: Cook County
Operation Green Light runs through Sunday, the day after Veterans Day.
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — With Veterans Day coming up on Saturday, Cook County is illuminating buildings to honor veterans. The effort, as part of Operation Green Light for Veterans, runs through Sunday. The Rolling Meadows Courthouse, located at 2121 Euclid Ave., is participating.
The nationwide initiative is led by the National Association of Counties "raises awareness around the unique challenges faced by many veterans and the resources available at the county, state and federal levels to assist veterans and their families," according to Cook County officials.
The Cook County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution supporting the second-year effort.
